Job summary

Robataya Sdn. Bhd is seeking motivated individuals for a Management Trainee role in Malaysia.

The programme provides hands-on training across restaurant operations, customer service, people management and business performance, with a clear pathway to supervisor and managerial positions. Successful trainees will gain exposure to operations, performance metrics, stock control and SOP compliance, while rotating through different outlets and functions to build a robust foundation for a future

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Management or related fields is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Candidates with restaurant/F&B experience are also welcome
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn
• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Undergo structured training in restaurant operations, service and management
• Learn and manage daily outlet operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, cleanliness and hygiene
• Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and kitchen teams
• Assist in staff scheduling, manpower planning and deployment
• Train, coach and motivate team members to achieve operational standards
• Handle customer feedback, complaints and service recovery professionally
• Monitor daily sales, expenses, wastage and operational performance
• Ensure company SOPs, food safety and operational procedures are strictly followed
• Assist with stock management, inventory control and ordering
• Monitor outlet facilities, equipment and maintenance issues
• Assist the Outlet Manager in achieving sales and operational targets
• Conduct staff briefings and communicate promotions, campaigns and operational updates
• Learn basic administrative and reporting duties
• Identify operational problems and propose practical solutions
• Take increasing responsibility for outlet operations as you progress through the programme
