Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to service and repair air conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical systems in restaurant environments across multiple sites in Kedah and Penang. You will perform dismantling, installation, and adjustments for HVAC and electrical setups, conduct preventive maintenance, and monitor safety standards.

Valid GDL and PW4 licenses are required, and willingness to travel to Sungai Petani, Alor Setar, Penang Island and Langkawi.

Qualifications

Background in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Electrical or related technical fields.
Experience with 5HP and above air conditioning systems.
Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, and basic electrical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of troubleshooting and repair principles.
Hands-on electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Good communication and teamwork.
Able to work in high-intensity environments with flexible hours.
Hold valid GDL and PW4 licenses and be willing to work across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and electrical equipment in restaurants.
Carry out dismantling, installation, and adjustment work for HVAC and electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair equipment faults to keep restaurant operations running smoothly.
Conduct preventive maintenance, daily tasks, and scheduled inspections.
Monitor equipment operating conditions and ensure safety standards.
Assist maintenance supervisor with scheduling and tasks.
Maintain tools and assist with spare parts handling.
