Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks Resident Programmers to deliver on-site application development, maintenance, and technical support for government digital applications. You will handle maintenance, source code updates, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and user demonstrations to ensure stable, scalable systems.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Software Engineering or related field, 5+ years of programming experience, and 3+ years working with CMS platforms, databases and mobile frameworks like

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Application Development or other relevant fields.
• Minimum 5 years of programming experience, excluding internship/industrial training.
• Minimum 3 years of CMS experience (Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, Liferay, KOHA, Statamic or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB or MSSQL).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile app frameworks (Ionic, Flutter).
• Willing to participate in screening, programming assessment and interview.

Responsibilities

• Perform application maintenance, troubleshooting, bug fixing and technical support.
• Develop, modify and update application source codes based on system requirements.
• Perform preventive, corrective, perfective and adaptive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot application errors and operational issues.
• Enhance and optimise applications to improve performance and usability.
• Ensure compatibility with changes in technology and platforms.
• Conduct testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
• Prepare technical and maintenance documentation.
• Provide technical support for applications using AWS Transcribe and OpenAI.
• Conduct user training and system demonstrations when required.
