Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking Resident Programmers to provide on-site application development, maintenance, and technical support for government digital applications. You will handle maintenance, source code updates, troubleshooting and system enhancements.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance, debugging, testing (including UAT), documentation, and user training, with hands-on work on AWS Transcribe and OpenAI-enabled applications.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Software Engineering / Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of programming experience, excluding internship/industrial training.
• Minimum 3 years of CMS experience (Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, Liferay, KOHA, Statamic or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB or MSSQL).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with mobile frameworks (Ionic, Flutter).
• Willing to participate in screening, programming assessment and interview.

Key responsibilities

Perform application maintenance, troubleshooting, bug fixing and technical support.

Develop, modify and update application source codes based on system requirements.

Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile application frameworks, specifically Ionic and Flutter.
