Astaka Padu Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Architect with extensive site supervision experience to lead architectural and construction oversight for high-rise hotel and residential projects in Johor. The role requires coordinating with contractors, supervising on-site activities, and preparing progress reports.

You will manage documentation, ensure regulatory compliance (UBBL/SDBA), and drive project success through strong leadership and clear English communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or relevant discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience, with minimum 5 years in site supervision as a Resident Architect.
• Experience on high-rise hotel and residential projects.

Responsabilités

• Implement policies and procedures for the Integrated Management System on site.
• Carry out site inspection, supervision and monitoring of architectural and construction works as per inspection and test plan.
• Attend Project Site Progress meetings and prepare Weekly Consultant Site Progress Reports.
• Monitor Architect's Instructions and maintain records of issuance, start, and completion dates.
• Lead the site team and handle overall project and site office administration.
• Coordinate with Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants to resolve design and technical issues.

Description du poste

This role involves implementing policies, activities, procedures and instructions relevant to the Architect company\'s Integrated Management System. You will be involved in contract administration of works, site inspection, supervision and monitoring of architectural and construction works as per inspection and test plan.

Key responsibilities

Implement all policies, activities, procedures and instructions relevant to the Architect company\'s Integrated Management System

Carry out site inspection, supervision and monitoring of architectural works and any relevant construction works as per inspection and test plan

Attend all Project Site Progress meetings

Prepare Architectural Weekly Consultant Site Progress Report and compile reports prepared by other consultants site representatives

Monitor all Architect\'s Instructions and keep records of all dates of issuance, dates of commencement and completion of instructed works

Monitor site progress, inspect, record and report status of works at every stage completion as per Sale and Purchase Agreement or latest regulation

Carry out control of documents and records at site office as per procedures

Coordinate with Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants to resolve onsite design and technical issues in a timely manner

Lead the site team

Handle Overall Project and Site Office Administration

About you

At least a Degree in Architecture or any relevant discipline

Minimum ten years of working experience with at least five years of Site Supervision experience as a Resident Architect

Experience working in both High-end High-rise Hotel and Residential projects

Able to lead the site team

Solid understanding on construction details and sequence of works and able to carry out site inspections

Well versed in UBBL, SDBA, BOMBA and other regulatory requirements

Familiar with QLASSIC or CONQUAS standards

Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software

Good command in English (verbal and writing)

Good interpersonal skills with leadership qualities and communication skills
