Job summary

Eternal Materials (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a chemist with a master’s degree in chemistry or related field to support resin development and technical services. Fresh graduates are welcome, and the role involves communication in Malay, English, and Mandarin with clients and Taiwan HQ.

Responsibilities include resin synthesis support, testing, and close collaboration with production and other departments to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field is required.
• PhD holders are preferred for this role.
• Experience in epoxy resins formulation and development is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle product-related consultation, including technical services to customers and internal support.
• Assist in resin sample synthesis and adjust product properties per specifications.
• Perform resin properties testing in accordance with SOPs.
• Conduct test runs and assess potential in formulations.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of products.
• Assist supervisor with assigned tasks and maintain laboratory cleanliness.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide solutions, and study resin properties for applications.
• Support factory production matters and propose suitable solutions.

Job description

Candidate must possess at least a Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. PhD holders are preferred.

Experience in EPOXY RESINS formulation and development will be an added advantage.

Required Language: Malay, English, Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and liaise with Taiwan HQ.

Job Description:

Handle product related consultation work, including technical services to customers and internal support to other departments.

To assist in resin sample synthesis and product properties adjustment in accordance with specifications and requirements.

To perform resin properties testing compliant to SOPs.

To perform test run and assess potential in product formulations.

Liaise with other functional departments, ensuring smooth delivery of products, when needed.

To assist supervisor on tasks assigned, maintaining laboratory cleanliness and perform ad-hoc duties.

Answer to customer’s requirements and provide solution to customer inquiries.

Study resin properties and relate to customer’s application.

Assist in factory production matters and provide suitable solution to the problems.
