Haos Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced R&D professional to join the team for product development, formulation trials, laboratory testing, and technical documentation to support quality, improvement, and compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will work on formulation trials, sensory evaluations, documentation for KKM/HALAL/HACCP/GMP/ISO, and interfacing with suppliers for raw materials and COA certificates.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct formulation and reformulation trials for new and existing food and beverage products.
• Prepare laboratory samples and pilot batches for product development, testing, and improvement.
• Perform sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, stability testing, and other relevant laboratory tests.
• Monitor product quality and evaluate trial results to support product improvement and consistency.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety requirements.
• Prepare and maintain product specifications, nutritional information, formulation records, and technical documentation.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation for regulatory requirements and certifications, including KKM, HALAL, HACCP, GMP, and ISO.
• Verify that product label claims are supported by appropriate technical data and documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain raw material samples, Certificates of Analysis (COA), HALAL certificates, and technical specifications.
• Evaluate raw materials for suitability and quality before production trials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Food Processing.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in R&D, product development, formulation, or laboratory testing within the food and beverage industry.
• Practical experience in product formulation, product trials, sensory evaluation, and shelf-life or stability testing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, product labelling, and relevant regulatory requirements, including KKM, HALAL, HACCP, GMP, and ISO.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
