Sepangar Chemical Industry Sdn Bhd in Sabah invites applications for a Research and Development Assistant / Supervisor to join our team. You will conduct laboratory research, testing and data analysis, and help prepare technical reports and presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Applied Science or related field.
• Experience in laboratory testing, research and development, quality control or chemical industry is an added advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to undertake field visits and customer technical support when required.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is required to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Position and remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Research and Development Assistant / Supervisor

Conduct laboratory research, testing and analysis, including the collection, recording and organisation of research data.

Analyse and summarise research findings, and prepare technical reports and presentations.

Assist in research and development activities, including product testing, evaluation and process improvement.

Provide technical assistance and support to customers on product-related matters.

Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures, quality standards and workplace safety requirements.

Undertake other related duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Applied Science or a related field.

Relevant experience in laboratory testing, research and development, quality control or the chemical industry will be an added advantage.

Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and reporting skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to undertake field visits and customer technical support when required.

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is required to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Position and remuneration will be commensurate with the successful candidate's qualifications, experience and demonstrated capabilities.
