Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Applied Science or related field.
• Experience in laboratory testing, research and development, quality control or chemical industry is an added advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to undertake field visits and customer technical support when required.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is required to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Position and remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory research, testing and analysis, including collection and organisation of research data.
• Analyse and summarise research findings, and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Assist in research and development activities, including product testing, evaluation and process improvement.
• Provide technical assistance and support to customers on product-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures, quality standards and workplace safety requirements.
• Undertake other related duties as assigned by Management.
