Job summary

S&P Global Energy is seeking an analyst to support its growing team across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The role emphasizes market data analysis, reporting on solar, batteries, energy storage and wind, and delivering insights to help clients make critical decisions.

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills in English. Chinese language capability is considered a plus for regional work in Asia.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a research analyst role or similar.
• Advanced knowledge of the clean energy technology industry.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, data modeling and problem-solving skills.
• Business-level English; Chinese language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, manage and analyze market data across clean energy technologies to track trends.
• Create high-quality market reports focusing on Southeast Asia and South Asia.
• Support client engagements with data and report insights via email and meetings.
• Present research findings at internal/external events in Asia.
• Help streamline research processes to improve data quality and productivity.
