Job summary

S&P Global Energy is seeking an analyst to support its expanding team focused on solar, batteries, energy storage, and wind technologies across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The role emphasizes data-driven market reports, client engagement, and presenting insights at industry events.

The candidate will apply strong analytical and modeling skills, with a preference for experience in renewables research and the ability to work in a global team. Fluency in English is essential; Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in clean energy/renewables research.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, or related field.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently and globally.
• Business English required; Chinese language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, manage and analyze market data across clean energy technologies to track trends in renewables markets.
• Create high-quality market reports analyzing multiple technologies with focus on SEA and SA.
• Support client engagements with data answers via email and meetings.
• Present research findings at internal/external events in Asia.
• Assist in improving research and data processes for efficiency and quality.
