Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Business Analyst in Kuala Lumpur to lead requirements gathering with business and technical stakeholders, produce FSDs and user stories, and map processes. You will work embedded in a client-managed team, coordinating SIT/UAT, APIs, and data mapping tasks.

You should have 3 to 6 years of BA experience, fluency in Mandarin and English, and comfort with basic SQL. Willingness to travel to Singapore occasionally and independently drive tasks will help you succeed in this

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of relevant Business Analyst experience.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (mandatory, both written and spoken).
• Comfortable with basic SQL and data mapping concepts.
• Prior exposure to API-driven systems and integration testing cycles.
• Based in Malaysia (KL or able to work remotely with regular availability), open to occasional Singapore travel.
• Able to work independently while embedded in a client-managed team.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Produce Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and user stories.
• Conduct workflow and process analysis.
• Work with APIs and perform basic SQL / data mapping tasks.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Liaise closely with Dev and QA teams to track issue resolution and delivery.
