Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join client teams in Kuala Lumpur, requiring 3–6 years of BA experience and fluency in Mandarin and English. The role involves understanding business needs, mapping requirements, and collaborating with technical teams.

You will produce Functional Specification Documents and user stories, analyze workflows, and work with APIs, SQL, and data mapping while coordinating SIT/UAT with Dev and QA.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of Business Analyst experience
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
• Basic SQL and data mapping concepts
• Exposure to API-driven systems and integration testing cycles
• Based in Malaysia (KL) or able to work remotely with regular availability, open to occasional Singapore travel
• Able to work independently while embedded in a client-managed team

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders
• Produce Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and user stories
• Conduct workflow and process analysis
• Work with APIs and perform basic SQL / data mapping tasks
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Liaise with Dev and QA teams to track issue resolution and delivery
