Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to analyze applications and systems for migration to new platforms, gather requirements, write technical user stories, and map system integration flows. The role requires a strong technical background with proven business analyst experience and knowledge of LOS or notification systems as an advantage.

A bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Eng is required, with at least 5 years in the field and 2 years of software development experience

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including requirement gathering, analysis, research, technical user story writing, and stakeholder management.
Knowledge of LOS or notification systems is an advantage.
Minimum of 2 years of prior software development experience using Node.js or Java.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Candidates with full working rights for Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Ability to analyze applications and systems for migration to new platforms, including requirement gathering, documentation, technical user story writing, and system integration flows.
Interpret system architecture and integration diagrams.
Hands‑on experience in designing and building notification journeys/systems, or supporting back‑end notification projects (e.g., SMS, Email, Push Notifications, WhatsApp, Voice, etc.).
