Job summary

SummitNext Technologies Sdn. Bhd. is hiring a Sales Development Representative to conduct outbound telemarketing, qualify leads, and set appointments from home. You will engage customers, understand their needs, and promote products with consultative communication.

The role requires Mandarin fluency, at least 1 year in a sales-facing position, and strong CRM usage. A competitive monthly salary is offered with commission, training provided, and leave benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in telemarketing, telesales, business development, inside sales, or similar.
• Strong outbound telemarketing experience, especially calling customers and setting appointments.
• Proven track record of generating qualified leads and securing sales appointments over the phone.
• Experience in BPO, call centre, telesales, telemarketing, inside sales, or business development preferred.
• Experience in lending, loans, SME loans, financial products, or financial services is an advantage.
• Mandarin-speaking ability is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound telemarketing calls to potential and existing customers using the provided database and leads.
• Engage customers professionally, understand their needs, and identify potential sales opportunities.
• Present, promote, and explain products and services using persuasive and consultative communication skills.
• Qualify leads and set appointments for the sales team based on defined criteria.
• Follow up with leads generated through marketing campaigns, databases, and other sources.
• Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly calling, qualified lead, appointment-setting, and sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, lead status, call outcomes, and appointments in the CRM system.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Handle customer objections, rejection, and enquiries professionally.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure qualified appointments and leads are properly handed over.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services.
