Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized university.
• 0–2 years of experience in industrial gas plant operations or a related industry.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Remotely operate and monitor multiple process plants from Linde's ROC in Malaysia, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations on a 12‑hour shift rotation.
• Monitor plant performance, track key operational KPIs, respond to process upsets, and perform troubleshooting to maintain operational stability and production targets.
• Support plant optimization initiatives, productivity projects, and root‑cause analysis activities for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate closely with site operations, engineering, and support teams to execute plant start‑ups, shutdowns, and operational mode changes in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational records, manage alarms and escalation processes, and ensure compliance with Linde's safety standards, operating procedures, and best practices.
