Job summary

Lam Research Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support pilot production, virtual manufacturing, and high-volume factories. You will oversee planning, development, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations while tackling technical, quality, and production challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related area; or advanced degree with no previous professional experience.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities in electro/mechanical assemblies.
• Proficient in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and structured problem-solving.
• Experience with CAD/PLM/PDM tools and BOM management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot product problems, identify STCA/LTCA, and drive for closure.
• Root cause investigation and corrective actions for assembly problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs and cycle time.
• Provide material rejects disposition for defective parts.
• Review and develop designs to improve manufacturability and assembly.
