Informa TechTarget in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Research Analyst, Primary Research & Customer Insights to lead market research projects and generate actionable insights. The role focuses on demand-side methodologies, survey design, and quantitative analysis to inform consulting engagements.

You will work with analysts, clients, and partners, shaping research from design to delivery, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in research, data analysis, or related roles.
• Ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with multitasking abilities.
• Exposure to research methodologies, data acquisition, and workflows.
• Strong quantitative analysis to interpret large datasets.
• Strong secondary research skills to aggregate information.
• Experience with analytical tools such as Qualtrics, SPSS, Excel.

Responsabilités

• Lead high-quality primary research projects aligned with objectives.
• Direct and manage on-time delivery of complex primary research projects.
• Design and validate survey instruments for high-value metrics.
• Oversee fielding of surveys and sampling to meet quotas.
• Develop innovative methodologies for generating insights from primary research.
• Lead creation of research panel communities feeding research services.
• Maintain relations with researchers, panel providers, and clients.
• Mentor junior analysts in design, analysis, and project management.
• Lead knowledge-sharing through training and methodology workshops.
• Author and oversee research reports based on primary findings.
