Job summary

Translation and Interpretation Services Company is hiring an Interpreter for 100% work-from-home arrangements, based in Malaysia. The role involves consecutive interpretation during night shifts (starting 7pm–3am, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week minimum).

Candidates must be Malaysian and proficient in English (B2 CEFR) and other required languages. Duties include live doctor-patient, banking, and client interpretation across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• Excellent listening, retention and note taking to maintain high accuracy.
• Ability to concentrate, stay detached from conversation, and remain neutral and objective.
• Ability to quickly establish personal credibility and follow client instructions closely.
• B2 CEFR English level bilingual with other required languages.

Responsibilities

• Provide language interpretation from one language to another for individuals with language barriers.
• Handle telephone or video calls on demand and render meaning in consecutive mode between speakers.
• Process information quickly, recognize cultural differences, and remain professional and courteous.
• Interpret across Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel, Hospitality, and General Business.
