Job summary

KONE’s Remote Monitoring and Support team is seeking an Operations Analysis Engineer to monitor elevators and escalators from the Global Operations Centre. You will identify faults, escalate events, and prepare analytical reports for service teams worldwide.

You will collaborate with field operations and area leads to drive reliability improvements. The role requires strong data handling, power BI visualization, and advanced Excel skills, with IoT and remote monitoring experience as an added

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related).
Experience in data handling, analysis, and interpretation to support decision-making.
Experience with IoT, remote monitoring or connectivity projects is an added advantage.
Experience in developing data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI is an added advantage.
Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, Power Query, and data modelling are beneficial.

Responsibilities

Monitor elevators and escalators to identify abnormalities and breakdowns.
Escalate critical events to stakeholders until resolution.
Analyze faults and prepare reports for service teams and customers.
Ensure timely delivery of scheduled reports with Area Lead collaboration.
Coordinate with local Service teams on corrective actions to prevent callouts.
Identify recurring failure trends and opportunities to improve reliability.
Collect, validate, and manage operational data for analysis and customer studies.
Support ad-hoc investigations using available tools.
