Job summary

LAGO Travel Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Customer Service Officer to handle inquiries, support ticketing, and assist in daily operations for a remote-first team.

You will respond to calls, live chat, WhatsApp, and email, coordinate with drivers, maintain manifests, and provide accurate information on routes and schedules. Mandarin proficiency is preferred, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written).
• Experience with WhatsApp, live chat systems, and email for customer service.
• Able to multitask between customer queries and back-end admin tasks.
• Training will be provided; prior customer service or transport/travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and respond promptly to customer queries.
• Attend to enquiries through live chat and WhatsApp, ensuring accurate and timely replies.
• Handle email correspondence with professionalism and clarity.
• Prepare and update bus manifests accurately for daily operations.
• Liaise with bus drivers to ensure smooth coordination of schedules, passenger lists, and operational needs.
• Assist in maintaining proper records and filing of operational documents.
• Provide clear information on bus services, routes, schedules, and ticketing.
• Support problem resolution (e.g., passenger complaints, last-minute changes).
• Escalate complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
