Job summary

You will partner with IBP planners to generate reliable forecasts and coordinate demand reviews, enabling smooth supply and customer outcomes. The role requires 10+ years in data science, expertise in ML and statistics, and proficiency in Python/R/SQL, plus data visualization skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, statistics, computer science or related field.
• Typically 10+ years of experience in data science or equivalent.
• Proficiency in predictive modeling, ML and statistical analysis.
• Programming in Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik or Spotfire.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to present to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in teams.
• Leadership experience with executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical forecasts and predictive models to forecast product orders across geographies.
• Assist Demand Planner(s) with root cause analysis of forecast issues.
• Evaluate IBP deviations and their impact on monthly plans.
• Generate analytical insights and design experiments to validate model performance.
• Communicate analytical gains to business functions for productionizing models.
• Create and validate statistical models for regular production use and share results.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities for planning.
• Educate the organization on innovative data science approaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven planning processes.
