Job summary

Penanshin is seeking a Senior IT Lead to manage and elevate our IT infrastructure, security posture, and helpdesk operations for a 200-person organization. This remote role from Johor requires hands-on leadership and technical excellence across cloud services, endpoint management, and security controls.

You will mentor one IT Executive, establish SLAs and SOPs, oversee migrations to M365/Azure, and ensure business continuity with a 3-2-1 backup strategy while maintaining strong collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, system administration, or technical support.
• 1-2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and task-manage 1 IT Executive to ensure prompt ticket resolution and service delivery.
• Establish IT helpdesk SLAs, escalation workflows, and SOPs.
• Balance daily user support tickets with strategic IT projects and system upgrades.
• Oversee company-wide IT infrastructure, identity management, and cloud/SaaS tools.
• Manage remote endpoint management for ~200 devices and ensure data backup and disaster recovery readiness.
• Enforce cybersecurity standards and conduct security reviews, access audits, and patch management.
• Maintain central IT asset register and manage vendor relationships, hardware procurement, and software licensing.
