Job summary

Penanshin Shipping Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior IT Lead / IT Supervisor to oversee IT infrastructure, user support, and security for a 200-person organization.

The role is remote with operations centered in Johor, Malaysia, mentoring one IT Executive and hands-on cloud, endpoint, and network management. Responsibilities include managing Azure AD/Entra ID, M365, backups, disaster recovery, and security controls, while coordinating vendor relationships and IT assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on IT experience in infrastructure, systems admin or tech support.
• At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• Fluent/business-level English (spoken and written).
• Experience with remote work and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a junior IT Executive, manage tickets, ensure service delivery.
• Oversee IT helpdesk SLAs, escalation workflows, and SOPs.
• Administer cloud tools, identity management, and endpoint devices (~200).
• Enforce cybersecurity standards, patching, MFA, zero-trust, audits.
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing, procurement, and asset register.
