SmartHire by SEEK is seeking a Business Development Executive to own the Johor and Southern Region healthcare market. The role is field-based and remote, requiring you to build relationships with healthcare professionals, clinics, hospitals, and laboratories while driving new client acquisition and revenue growth.

You will lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with autonomy to plan daily activities and travel as needed to visit clients and attend events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years of sales or business development experience preferred, especially in healthcare-related sectors.
• Strong ability to generate leads, develop accounts, and hit sales targets.

Responsabilités

• Develop and expand the company’s presence across Johor and the Southern Region in healthcare and medical sectors.
• Identify, prospect and acquire new clients through cold calls, networking, referrals, and client visits.
• Conduct regular face-to-face meetings and presentations to promote healthcare, medical and related products and services.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Develop sales plans to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets in a structured way.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and distributors.
• Identify new market segments and potential partnerships within the territory.
• Monitor market trends and provide feedback to support commercial strategy.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and industry events to generate leads.
• Maintain regular communication with HQ and provide updates on activities and pipeline.
