Job summary

Coda is a global payments and commerce platform helping merchants scale across markets. As an Implementation Specialist you’ll lead enterprise-level merchant integrations, act as the technical authority on payment API solutions, and mentor junior teammates.

You’ll own complex integration projects across multi-time-zone teams, ensure secure and compliant implementations, and translate merchant feedback into practical improvements while guiding cross-functional partners to success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical support, solution engineering, integration, or similar fields.
• Ability to operate autonomously during US business hours (remote).
• Client-facing experience with strong cross-functional communication.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and authentication standards (e.g., JWT).
• Hands-on debugging using Postman, SQL, and log management tools (Kibana, HyperDX).
• Experience supporting payment systems or fintech merchants (highly preferred).
• Strong project management and coordination across multi-time-zone projects.
• Fluency in English in multicultural environments.

Responsibilities

• Own technical relationships with high-value or multi-market merchants.
• Design and propose solutions for non-standard use cases (multi-currency, routing logic).
• Lead technical deep-dives, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations.
• Ensure secure, compliant, and optimized integration implementations.
• Monitor integration health and propose performance improvements.
• Conduct technical business reviews with strategic partners.
• Act as escalation point for critical blockers.
• Translate merchant feedback into actionable improvements.
• Lead testing of new features with Product and Engineering.
