Job summary

SOCOE SDN. BHD. seeks a high-autonomy L3 technical expert for a 24/7 hybrid engineering and operations role. You will provide advanced support across applications, cloud infrastructure, and databases, while contributing to codebase improvements during quieter periods.

Ideal candidates have 3–6+ years in Software Eng, L3 Support, DevOps, or Sys Admin, with strong cloud, database, and API expertise, and a Bachelor’s in CS/IT. Flexible remote options apply after-hours and on weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, L3 Application Support, DevOps, or Systems Administration.
• Solid background in troubleshooting web/mobile backends, APIs, and microservice architectures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), server management, and system monitoring tools.
• Strong SQL query optimization and database administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application, infrastructure, and database issues that bypass front-line teams.
• Maintain primary on-call availability during assigned shifts with 24/7 coverage and weekend rotation.
• Monitor production environments, deploy patches, and optimize performance across multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Contribute to active codebase enhancements and continuous delivery pipelines during low-volume windows.
• Respond rapidly to incidents, perform root-cause analysis (RCA), and implement permanent remediations.
