Job summary

Coherent Corp. Malaysia is seeking a Reliability Engineer to develop and implement qualification test plans, define reliability requirements with design, quality and manufacturing teams, and apply modeling techniques to predict product life and field performance.

You will support qualification of new products and processes, drive improvements in testing capabilities and equipment, and prepare technical reports for cross-functional stakeholders to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Materials Science, Physics, or related engineering field.
• Knowledge of reliability standards (e.g., Telcordia, GR468, MIL-STD, IEC).
• Experience with reliability testing, data analysis, and statistical methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good teamwork, communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities
