Job summary

2201 United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Relationship Manager to oversee corporate accounts in Johor Bahru. You will manage client relationships, ensure credit facilities are fully utilized, and monitor account performance.

You will identify opportunities to cross-sell investment banking, treasury and insurance products, build lasting business partnerships with senior executives, and deliver timely reports while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance / Business / Economics / Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in banking, corporate or commercial banking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven sales and business development track record.
• Strong relationship-building with senior executives.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Managing assigned accounts/relationships, ensuring all credit facilities are fully utilized.
• Monitoring the performance of each account, identifying areas where improvements can be made and implementing measures to enhance profitability.
• Cross selling other bank’s products such as investment banking, treasury and insurance.
• Growing existing customers’ relationship by providing them with quality banking services and attending to their needs promptly.

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance / Business Administration / Economics / Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in banking, preferably in corporate or commercial banking.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build long term relationships.
• Ability to think creatively and outside the box.
• Experience in dealing with senior management level executives.
• Confident, articulate and able to work under pressure.
• Proven track record of success in sales and business development.
• Good knowledge of financial markets and products.
• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
