Job summary

RHB Banking Group in Malaysia seeks a credit-focused Middle Market/SME relationship manager to maintain and deepen a core portfolio, and actively acquire new customers and loans.

You will work with product specialists, prepare credit proposals, ensure credit requirements are met, and deliver letters of offer, while monitoring customer experience and addressing process lapses. The role demands strong credit writing and analytical skills, networking ability, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in credit, with exposure to risk management and credit processing.
• Strong credit writing and analytical skills.
• Excellent networking, market knowledge, financial analysis, sales and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and deepen relationships with a minimum core portfolio of 30 Middle Market/SME clients.
• Actively drive primary sales through acquisition of new Middle Market/SME customers and through new loans to existing clients.

• Ensure customers meet basic credit requirements, and maintain new Non-Performing Loans (NPL) within approved budget.

• Work closely with Account Managers to prepare credit proposals.
• Vet, sign and deliver Letters of Offer.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in credit with exposure to credit risk management and commercial including credit processing, evaluation and appraisal is required for this position.
• Possess strong credit writing and analytical skills.
