Job summary

M & A Securities Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Executive to support monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reporting, financial analysis and Board papers. You will coordinate with Group Finance, prepare management reports and assist with external audits.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, strong Excel skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Fresh graduates are welcome, and 1–3 years' experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis or financial services will be an advantage.
• Strong interest in financial analysis, regulatory reporting and the securities/financial services industry.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; knowledge of PivotTables and Excel formulas will be an advantage.
• Good communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines.
• Willing to learn and take on responsibilities in regulatory reporting, Board reporting and financial analysis.
• Able to work independently as well as coordinate with different departments.
• Responsible, organised and able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports and submissions to relevant regulatory authorities.
• Prepare financial analysis, management reports and supporting schedules.
• Assist in preparing Board and Board Committee reports and presentation materials.
• Assist in preparing and coordinating Group Board papers and supporting documents.
• Assist with the circulation and coordination of Board papers within the required timeline.
• Analyse financial results, movements and variances and prepare explanations for Management.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting for Management and Group reporting purposes.
• Coordinate with internal departments and Group Finance to obtain information required for reporting and submissions.
• Assist with external audit requirements and provide supporting schedules and information.
• Ensure reports and supporting information are accurate, complete and properly maintained.
• Perform other financial analysis, reporting and ad hoc assignments as assigned by Management.
