Job summary

Paramount Corporation Berhad, based in Shah Alam, seeks a seasoned finance professional to lead the group reporting, Bursa Malaysia submissions and statutory accounts. You will oversee consolidation of monthly/quarterly results and coordinate audits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a degree or professional qualification in finance, at least 5 years in a listed-company setting, and strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experience, preferably in a public listed company.
• Well-versed in consolidation of group accounts, Bursa Malaysia reporting and audited financials.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review monthly/quarterly consolidated accounts and Bursa reporting.
• Coordinate preparation of audited financial statements and annual report within timelines.
• Supervise monthly closing, ensure accuracy, completeness and proper resolution of issues.
• Oversee receivables, payments and cash postings with proper controls and documentation.
• Monitor accounting postings, bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls and authority limits.
• Coordinate annual budgeting, forecasts, and group consolidation analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on audit findings.
• Supervise tax information compilation and coordinate with tax agents; ensure confidentiality.
