INTI International University & Colleges seeks a Campus Registrar to lead compliance, records, and examinations at the Penang campus. You will coordinate MOHE/MQA matters, ensure data accuracy, and supervise graduation and scholarship activities.

The role requires tertiary or higher qualifications and strong leadership in an education setting. You will collaborate with administrators, deans, IT staff and counselors to improve student services and policy adherence.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification in relevant discipline.
  • Managerial experience in the higher education sector.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to set and communicate clear vision and expectations for programme and individual performance.

Responsibilities

  • Representing College for all MQA, MOHE related matters and other issues needing action.
  • Ensuring MOHE and MQA regulations and timelines are followed.
  • Liaising with external agencies and government departments on student issues.
  • Advising on MQA documentations and vetting before submission.
  • Ensuring program quality per MQA requirements and INTI standards.
  • Overseeing time-tabling, records, registrations for efficient service.
  • Managing exam unit and end-to-end examination processes.
  • Collaborating on graduation processes and scholarship disbursement.
  • Leading Quality Management Review (QMR) processes.

Job description

To support Campus Chief Executive by providing leadership to plan, organise and manage initiatives related to compliance, student records, entity requirement and regulatory matters at campus level. The Registrar is also accountable for the day to day operations of their campus.

Job Responsibilities:

Registry Matters

Representing College for all MQA, MOHE related matters and other on and off issues that need immediate action.

Ensuring that the college abides by the MOHE and MQA regulations and timeline.

Liaising with external agencies and government departments including but not limited to coordinate a phase of external and internal program eg: correspondence with external and internal University on students issues etc.

Act as adviser in preparation of MQA documentations and to vet through the documents before submission is made as per guidelines set by MQA.

Ensuring quality and standard of the program is according to MQA requirements and INTI’s standards.

Records, Time-tabling and Resource Planning

Overseeing all operations matters with related to time-tabling and records and registrations to provide maximum service to students while ensuring efficient and effective workflow.

Ensuring high quality and accuracy of collecting, recording, maintaining and reporting of student records for audit and compliance purposes

Provide leadership and develop appropriate recommendations for the implementation of related technology application in support of enhanced services offered through RTRP

Develop and administer the departmental budget

Problem solve the research, analysis and resolution of student disputes as they relate to records and registration

Collaborate with administrators, deans, faculty, IT and counselors to facilitate and improve services to students, including catalog and registration/records policy questions.

To oversee the planning of student time-table and do other resource planning

To evaluate the processes currently in practice from time to time and enhance it further.

Managing the Examination Unit

To collaborate with relevant examination bodies, partner universities, faculty and other campuses in all examination and result releasing related matters

To oversee the end to end examination process to ensure compliances with standards and policy, effectively and timely.

To ensure the end to end moderation process and any ad-hoc issue is carried out effectively and efficiently

To oversee any audit preparation by relevant authority’s i.e MQA, MOHE, external partners, external examination bodies etc.

To ensure the current automated system is upgraded from time to time in accordance to the current requirement.

Graduation

To collaborate and liaise with all relevant parties with related to graduation process.

Overseeing the end to end graduation process in compliances with all standards and ensure accuracy in all necessary process and documentation.

Manages the disbursement of the scholarship & bursaries offered at INTI.

Quality Management Review (QMR)

To lead the QMR related processes in the campus.
