Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a nurse to deliver care aligned with the unit's vision and mission. You will work shifts as assigned, inform management of changes, and participate in comprehensive patient rounds and documentation to ensure quality care.

The role requires hands-on nursing support, handover accuracy, patient and family communication, and collaboration with doctors and the care team to uphold safety and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Carries out nursing duties in line with Vision/Mission, goals and unit scope.
• Works shift duties or as assigned by Unit Manager according to unit hours.
• Informs Unit Manager of changes affecting care standards.
• Receives and handover reports; knows patient cases in detail; ensures orders are carried out before shift change.
• Visits every patient with the team; reassesses, replans care, and sets nursing priorities.
• Provides holistic care using the Nursing Process with proper documentation.
• Reports abnormal findings/progress to doctors/consultants.
• Conducts regular nursing rounds to assess patient needs and provide emotional support.
