Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia seeks a dedicated nurse to manage nursing care in line with our Vision and Mission statements. The role focuses on delivering holistic patient care, conducting thorough assessments, and ensuring all medical orders are executed accurately and promptly.

You will participate in regular nursing rounds, coordinate with doctors and the care team, and support patients and their families with emotional and informational needs.

Qualifications

• Understands and carries out nursing care in line with Vision and Mission Statements, Goals and Objectives that suit the scope of the Nursing Services.
• Provides individualized holistic care to patients using the Nursing Process with proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Works shifts or as assigned by Unit Manager according to Unit’s Operational Hours.
• Informs Unit Manager when changes affect standards of care.
• Receives and handover report of patient and knows the case in detail.
• Visits every patient with the team to assess condition and re-plan nursing care.
• Provides nursing care, documents progress, and ensures doctors’ orders are carried out.
• Conducts regular nursing rounds to identify additional needs and provide emotional support.
• Assists doctors during ward rounds and procedures as required.
• Maintains communication with doctors, patients, and relatives to achieve patient satisfaction.
• Attends unit meetings and participates in health education of patients and families.
