Hong Leong Bank is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive the strategy, development, and growth of its investment and FX product suite in Malaysia and Singapore. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of Dual Currency Investments, FX forwards, options, and commodities, working with engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and compliance to deliver innovative solutions.

The role requires strong market knowledge, customer focus, and a proven track record of launching financial products

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 5 years of product and project management experience in financial services or wealth management.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, FX trading, and commodities.
• Experience translating business needs into product specifications within Agile environments.
• Familiar with Malaysian financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with AI tools to boost research.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for Dual Currency Investments, FX transactions, FX forwards, FX options, and commodities (gold, silver, etc.).
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including defining requirements and collaborating with engineering and design teams.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
• Manage the lifecycle of existing and new products, monitor performance, and drive improvements.
• Develop pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability in the Malaysian market.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management in product features and processes.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to go-to-market effectively for Malaysia and Singapore.
