Job summary

MetLife is seeking a Vendor Management Governance Advisor for its Global Business Solutions (GBS) team in a hybrid setup based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will partner with Vendor Managers, Engagement Managers, Procurement, and risk teams to strengthen governance and standardize practices across regions.

The role focuses on governance policy application, reporting, and enabling teams to adopt enterprise vendor management standards with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Vendor Management, Procurement, Governance, or related fields.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Analytical and problem solving skills with good communication abilities.
• Ability to interpret governance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as regional representative of the Vendor Management Center of Excellence.
• Promote consistent adoption and execution of vendor management standards and processes.
• Provide guidance on vendor segmentation and governance requirements.
• Monitor adherence to standards and identify remediation needs.
• Support continuous improvement of governance practices and data quality.
