Job summary

Maybank is seeking an experienced Senior Vendor Governance Manager to establish and oversee governance frameworks for a broad vendor portfolio in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive performance reviews, risk assessments, and executive reporting to ensure compliance and value realization.

You will lead cross-functional engagement with procurement, legal, IT and business stakeholders, ensuring SLAs/KPIs are met and that contractual obligations are fulfilled.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• Experience in vendor management, contract management, procurement or third-party governance.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, vendor governance, SLA/KPI management and monitoring.
• Commercial and analytical capabilities including cost management and financial analysis.
• Experience in third-party risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and executive reporting skills.
• Certifications such as MCIPS, CPSM, WorldCC/IACCM, ITIL or PMP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain vendor governance frameworks with clear accountabilities.
• Monitor contractual obligations, SLAs, KPIs, milestones and regulatory requirements.
• Lead vendor performance reviews and prepare scorecards and dashboards.
• Coordinate governance meetings, QBRs and executive engagements.
• Identify and resolve performance issues with corrective actions.
• Manage commercial outcomes including savings, rebates, pricing and invoices.
• Coordinate third-party risk management activities including cyber security and compliance.
• Develop renewal and lifecycle plans; assess requirements, risks and market options.
• Support transitions, renewals, terminations, and knowledge transfer.
• Drive continuous improvement across the vendor portfolio and sourcing strategies.
