Job summary

MetLife’s Global Business Solutions (GBS) team in Malaysia seeks a Vendor Management Governance Advisor to partner with Vendor and Engagement Managers across regions, ensuring consistent application of vendor standards and reporting practices to strengthen governance maturity.

This role acts as a trusted advisor, delivering training, enablement, and support to stakeholders while coordinating with Procurement, Third Party Risk Management, Legal, and Compliance to drive efficiency and risk

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
3–5+ years in vendor management, procurement, governance, or related fields.
Strong organizational, coordination, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to interpret policies, standards, procedures, and governance requirements.

Responsibilities

Serve as regional representative of the Vendor Management Center of Excellence.
Produce governance reporting, dashboards, and insights across regions.
Provide day-to-day support to Vendor Managers, Engagement Managers, and Procurement.
Support governance activities across the vendor lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and data quality enhancements.
