Job summary

Edmund Optics Singapore is hiring a Business Development Engineer to grow our customer base across Southeast Asia, based in Penang, Malaysia. This is a technical sales role with responsibility for growing existing accounts and winning new business in the region.

We seek someone with an existing regional network, a track record in key account growth, and the judgement to engage customer engineering teams. Imaging optics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics or related technical field.
• At least 3 years in technical sales, account management or business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic SEA accounts.
• Identify and qualify new customers across Southeast Asia and build the regional pipeline.
• Deliver technical presentations and engage engineering teams to close opportunities.
