Job summary

Edmund Optics Singapore is hiring a Business Development Engineer based in Penang, Malaysia, to grow our customer base across Southeast Asia. This technical sales role takes over an established book of semiconductor, automation, and machine vision accounts, with responsibility for growing them and winning new business in the region.

You will engage with customer engineering teams, develop solutions, deliver technical presentations and coordinate with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or related technical field.
• At least 3 years in technical sales, account management, or business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts across Southeast Asia.
• Identify new opportunities and expand Edmund Optics’ share of business.
• Deliver technical presentations and coordinate with internal teams to meet customer needs.
• Travel regularly within Malaysia and APAC as required.
