Job summary

Suntar International Group is seeking a Supply Chain Executive to oversee end-to-end procurement and logistics for Malaysia and Singapore. You will source suppliers, negotiate contracts, ensure timely and compliant delivery, and optimize costs across Southeast Asia.

The role requires 3–5+ years in procurement/logistics within engineering or manufacturing, with strong knowledge of SE Asia trade regulations and cross-border transport. Proficiency in RFQ and budget monitoring is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, SCM, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of procurement and logistics experience in engineering, industrial projects, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of customs, trade compliance, and import/export regulations in SE Asia.
• Proficient in RFQ processes, vendor evaluation, bid analysis, and negotiations.
• Understanding of tariff codes, trade agreements, and customs documentation.
• Familiarity with air/sea freight, courier services, and cross-border transport in SE Asia.
• Experience with contract negotiation, cost analysis, and budget monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement and logistics for Malaysia and Singapore.
• Conduct market research, RFQ prep, vendor evaluation, bid analysis, and supplier negotiations.
• Build and maintain tiered supplier database across Malaysia, Singapore, and SE Asia.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to identify procurement requirements and lead times.
• Support pre-tender phase with accurate cost estimation and supplier feasibility analysis.
• Negotiate contracts covering pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
• Monitor vendor performance and manage underperforming suppliers.
• Monitor procurement budgets and track spending against project estimates.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and negotiate for cost optimization without compromising quality.
