Job summary

Atomic Recruitment SEA seeks a SEA Supply Chain Director to lead end-to-end supply chain operations across Southeast Asia, including fresh food sourcing, procurement, demand planning, cold chain, warehousing, logistics and distribution.

The role covers Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam, with a focus on freshness, quality, cost efficiency and continuity. Mandarin proficiency is essential, and travel across SEA is expected.

Qualifications

• Senior level leadership experience in supply chain/procurement/logistics across SEA.
• Experience with fresh food, seafood, FMCG, or related industries.
• Mandarin/Chinese proficiency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and operations across Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
• Oversee sourcing, procurement, demand planning, inventory and supply planning.
• Develop and manage regional and local suppliers and performance.
• Oversee cold-chain, warehousing, transportation and distribution operations.
• Ensure freshness, quality, availability and on-time delivery.
• Drive cost optimization, efficiency and scalability across the region.
• Establish regional processes, KPIs and operating standards.
• Build and develop local supply chain teams across SEA.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, QA and Commercial functions.
• Support rapid regional expansion with scalable supply chain infrastructure.

About the Role

We are supporting a rapidly expanding Chinese food & beverage group in hiring a SEA Supply Chain Director to lead end-to-end supply chain operations across Southeast Asia.

This is a regional leadership role covering fresh food sourcing, procurement, demand planning, cold chain, warehousing, logistics and distribution, with a strong focus on freshness, quality, cost efficiency and supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and operations across Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
• Oversee fresh food sourcing, procurement, demand planning, inventory and supply planning.
• Develop and manage regional and local suppliers, including sourcing and supplier performance.
• Oversee cold-chain, warehousing, transportation and distribution operations.
• Ensure product freshness, food quality, availability and on-time delivery across markets.
• Drive supply chain cost optimisation, efficiency and scalability.
• Establish regional supply chain processes, KPIs and operating standards.
• Build and develop local supply chain teams across SEA.
• Work closely with Operations, Finance, QA, Commercial and other business functions.
• Support the company’s rapid regional expansion through a scalable supply chain infrastructure.
• Report directly to the CEO and provide strategic supply chain direction for the region.

Requirements

• Senior Supply Chain / Procurement / Logistics leadership experience, ideally at Director / Regional Head level.
• Strong experience managing multi-country supply chains across Southeast Asia.
• Background in fresh food, seafood, F&B, foodservice, FMCG, cold chain or related industries strongly preferred.
• Proven experience across procurement, demand planning, inventory, warehousing, logistics and distribution.
• Strong supplier sourcing and supplier management experience.
• Experience managing temperature-controlled / perishable products is highly advantageous.
• Strong commercial, analytical and operational leadership capabilities.
• Experience building and managing regional teams.
• Mandarin / Chinese language proficiency is a MUST.
• Willingness to travel regionally across SEA.
