SUPERWORLD ELECTRONICS (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Regional Manager, R&D (Electronics Component) to lead the development of inductors, transformers and related magnetic components from concept to mass production at our Penang site.

You will drive new materials and process improvements to enhance product quality, yield, performance and cost efficiency. You will establish and improve R&D processes, project management systems and commercialization practices while leading and developing the

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Magnetic Materials, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in inductors, transformers, magnetic components, or related industries, with at least 5 years in an engineering leadership role.
Strong expertise in design and development of inductors, transformers, integrated molding inductors, SMD power inductors, and wireless charging products.
Solid knowledge of magnetic materials, electromagnetic simulation, thermal design, manufacturing processes, testing, and reliability analysis.
Familiarity with AEC-Q200, IATF 16949, UL, CE, and other relevant industry standards.
Strong leadership, communication, cross-functional collaboration, customer engagement, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel internationally for customer visits, project support, and business development.

Responsibilities

Develop technology roadmaps and lead development of inductors, transformers, and related magnetic components from concept to mass production.
Drive new materials, technologies, and process improvements to enhance product quality, yield, performance, and cost efficiency.
Establish and improve R&D processes, project management systems, and commercialization practices.
Lead and develop the R&D team, building technical capabilities and a strong talent pipeline.
Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and key customers on technical requirements, solutions, and project support.
Ensure product compliance with relevant industry standards and drive design, process, and material optimization for quality, reliability, and cost reduction.
