Job summary

SUPERWORLD ELECTRONICS (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced R&D leader to develop and execute a technology roadmap for power inductors, transformers, and magnetic components.

You will drive electromagnetic simulation, prototyping, performance validation, and seamless transfer from pilot to mass production. Lead a high‑performing R&D team, establish standardized processes, collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality, and engage key customers for solution development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical/Electronics/Magnetic Materials or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in power inductors, transformers, magnetic components, or related industries.
• 5 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a technology roadmap for inductors, transformers, and magnetic components.
• Lead complete product development lifecycle from concept to mass production transfer.
• Drive manufacturing technology transfer and cost optimization.
• Establish standardized R&D processes for project initiation, planning, and risk management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and customers for technical proposals and solutions.
• Lead ongoing improvement to meet AEC-Q200, IATF 16949, UL, CE standards.
