Job summary

JOINTHIRE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Malaysia seeks a Regional Sales Executive to build strong dealer relationships, promote cordless power tools, and train dealers in selling techniques. The role covers West Malaysia and requires travel with own transport.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in sales within hardware or related sectors, fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage. Working hours follow a Monday–Friday schedule with field activities and promotions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required; SPM with experience considered.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in power tools or related hardware.
• Willing to travel within West Malaysia.
• Own transportation required.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers in assigned territories to ensure they receive firsthand information on new products and promotions
• Assist in all forms of product promotions involving dealers and end-users within the assigned territory
• Educate dealers on the latest selling techniques and conduct product demonstrations or training programs
• Monitor and ensure timely payments from customers in accordance with credit terms
• Analyze and monitor competitor movements and activities for benchmarking purposes
• Support marketing campaigns and projects as a team player
• Provide frequent and accurate sales progress reports to the immediate superior
