IAS ANALYSIS seeks an experienced leader to head regional NIR applications across Asia. You will guide the regional team, deliver calibration and modelling solutions, and work with customers to design practical technical strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in field applications, application engineering, technical support or related technical role.
• Experience with NIR applications, calibration/modelling, chemometrics or related analytical applications is highly preferred.
• Experience in industries such as analytical instruments, agriculture, grain, feed or food is preferred.
• Experience leading or managing an application/technical team and developing team capabilities is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional application support and NIR modelling plans across Asia.
• Lead and support the regional application team, providing technical guidance, coaching, and training.
• Provide technical expertise in NIR applications, calibration/modelling, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Work with customers, application engineers, channel partners, and internal teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, customer training, workshops, and application assessments.
• Support NIR data collection, model development, optimisation, validation, and implementation at customer sites.
• Perform site visits and fieldwork to support installations, technical assessments, troubleshooting, and projects.
• Coordinate with HQ, R&D, and other technical teams to resolve application issues and support product improvement.
• Ensure application projects are planned, monitored, documented and completed according to technical requirements and timelines.
• Provide timely application and after-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain technical reports, application documentation, customer records, and regular updates to management.
• Build and maintain strong technical relationships with customers and partners across the region.
