Job summary

Businesslist is seeking a commercially minded marketer to lead brand and regional marketing initiatives in Southeast Asia from its Kuala Lumpur base.

You will drive integrated campaigns, launch new products, adapt global brand strategies locally, manage agencies, and collaborate with sales and leadership to grow market share.

The role offers broad ownership across strategy, activations, and partnerships in a fast-paced growth environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of marketing experience in FMCG, food & beverage, consumer goods, or related sectors.
• Proven success leading integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution.
• Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, media planning, and digital marketing ecosystems.
• Experience launching products and managing brand portfolios in competitive consumer categories.
• Comfortable operating within a regional or matrix organisation and influencing diverse stakeholders.
• Strong project management, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, agile, and able to thrive in a fast-paced growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated marketing plans that strengthen brand awareness, consideration, and consumer engagement.
• Lead the launch and commercialization of new products and seasonal campaigns.
• Develop market-relevant activation strategies across digital, retail, and consumer touchpoints.
• Partner with regional teams to adapt global brand initiatives for local market success.
• Manage external agencies across creative, media, digital, and shopper marketing functions.
• Monitor consumer, category, and competitive trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Translate insights into commercially impactful marketing actions and recommendations.
• Own marketing investment planning and ensure effective allocation of resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including sales, commercial, and regional leadership teams.
• Champion best-practice sharing and continuous improvement across markets.
