Job summary

Haleon in Malaysia seeks a Regional Operational Excellence Director to lead the global deployment of the Haleon Production System (HPS) across regions. You will align regional objectives with global strategy, delivering sustainable performance improvements at scale.

This senior leadership role oversees strategy, capability building, engagement, and execution, partnering with regional leaders, site leadership, and operational excellence communities to embed HPS across Haleon’s manufacturing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in Operational Excellence, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Management
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience
• Proven project, programme, and people leadership capability
• Ability to engage, influence, and inspire stakeholders at all levels
• Experience in a complex, global matrix environment
• Leading large-scale change initiatives
• Strong commercial and operational business acumen
• Experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical capability balancing strategic thinking and execution
• High levels of accountability, flexibility, and urgency

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Haleon Production System programme across multiple countries.
• Partner with regional and site leadership to ensure engagement and structured deployment.
• Govern deployment planning, progress tracking, gap assessments, and reviews.
• Role model, coach, and train leaders on HPS standards and behaviours.
• Lead HPS communications, benchmarking, and knowledge sharing across regions.
• Support resourcing, capability planning, and recruitment for site-level HPS roles.
• Provide structured options to resolve complex operational challenges and drive execution.
