Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Senior Application Engineering Supervisor to lead SEA regional engineering operations for HCI products. You will drive project delivery, grow capabilities, and support business growth while mentoring engineers and coordinating with sales for technical engagements.

The role requires a strong engineering background (Chemical/Process/Control) with 6+ years in leadership, and experience in oil & gas or process industries is preferred. On-site in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Control Systems, or related).
• Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in engineering with leadership exposure.
• Proven track record in engineering leadership or management roles.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemicals, refining, or process industries preferred.
• Strong customer engagement, technical consultancy, and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage regional engineering project execution for Honeywell solutions in SEA.
• Own delivery performance, schedule adherence, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive billability and optimize resource utilization across the regional team.
• Develop and implement training plans for engineers aligned with business needs.
• Mentor engineers to enhance technical proficiency and leadership.
• Build a high-performance engineering team with domain expertise in HCI solutions.
• Engage in pre-sales activities, clarify proposals, and support bid submissions.
• Collaborate with sales to identify opportunities and expand the project pipeline.
